Univ. of Hawaii at Hilo: Hall competed for two seasons with the Vulcans. In his freshman year, he earned medalist honors at both the Saint Martin's Invitational, where he shot a season-best 67 in the second round, and the Dennis Rose Invitational. He posted an average score of 74.2. He finished in a tie for 21st place at the PacWest Conference Championship and in a tie for 42nd place at the NCAA Division II Centra/West Regional. During his sophomore season, he tied for medalist honors at the Sonoma State Men's Invitational and in fifth place at the PacWest Conference Championship. Hall's average score in 2012-13 was 73.75, and he concluded the year by finishing in a tie for 31st place at the NCAA Division II South Central/West Regional.
High School: Hall was a two-time all-state selection and a four-time all-metro honoree while playing for Tim Reilly at Seattle Prep. He appeared in the state championship tournament three times and helped the Panthers win the team state title in 2011. He also played baseball for three years, batting .589 in his senior season to earn league MVP and first team all-state honors.
Personal: Hall is the oldest son of Gus and Angela Hall, and he has a younger brother named William. Born March 5, 1993, he is majoring in strategic communications.
