High School: Torres graduated from the GI School.

Other Experience: Torres won the Colombia National Championship three times, in 2005, 2008, and 2009, to go along with wins in the Chile Junior Open in 2011 and Pacific Rubiales Open in 2012. He has represented his home country of Colombia in tournaments in Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Canada, and the United States.

Personal: Full name David Torres. Torres was born in Armenia, Cololbia, and his mom is Yolanda Rodriguez. Torres is a business economics major. He plays the guitar and drums and also enjoys swimming, biking, and running, hoping to participate in the Ironman Triathlon one day.
