High School: Gruher attended Union High School in his hometown of Camas, Wash… Gruher was a four-year member of his high school's varsity golf team… was named team MVP his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... tied the Union High School scoring record, averaging a match score of 36… shot 32 to lead his team to a school record 139… was the two-time Player of the Year for the Greater St. Helen's League… wrapped up his prep career by finishing 26th overall in the 4A WIAA state tournament.
