2020-21: Made his Houston debut in season-opening win over Lamar inside Fertitta Center... finished with six points on a pair of 3-pointers against the Cardinals (11/25)... finished with nine points, thanks to three 3-pointers, and grabbed a rebound with an assist in win over Tulane (1/9)... tied the Houston single-game record with nine 3-pointers in win at Tulane... drained 9-of-15 from behind the arc against the Green Wave... set a Houston player season high with 31 points and addd two rebounds in the win... joined Robert McKiver as only Cougars to make nine 3-pointers in a game (1/28).. Set Houston single-game and Fertitta Center records with 10 3-pointers in win over Our Lady of the Lake... finished with 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting and grabbed three rebounds with two assists and two steals against the Saints (2/6)... drained three 3-pointers in win over USF (2/28). The American Championship: Scored five points with a rebound and assist in Title Game win over Cincinnati (3/14). NCAA Tournament: Drained two free throws and grabbed a rebound with an assist in First-Round win over Cleveland State (3/19)... left the team and transferred to Seattle University following the season.

2019-20: Did not compete and sat out as a redshirt, per NCAA transfer rules.
 
 IDAHO
2018-19: Appeared in all 32 games, starting 31... broke the Idaho freshman scoring record and finished the season with 432 points... averaged 13.5 points and 1.9 rebounds per game... connected on 106-of-247 3-pointers, breaking the Big Sky Conference record for 3s by a freshman (Tyler Hall, Montana State)... finished second in the Big Sky Conference with 106 3-pointers... his 106 3-pointers were second most in a single season in program history (Connor Hill, 2014-15)... shot 42.9 percent from beyond the arc... scored a career-best 27 in the first meeting with Weber State... made 5+ 3-pointers on nine occasions, something done by an Idaho true freshman just once prior in program history... made at least one 3-pointer in every game, becoming the first Vandal to accomplish that feat.
 
 HIGH SCHOOL
Finished as all-time leader scorer in Bothell High history. Senior (2017-18): All-KingCo 4A First Team selection... led the Cougars to an overall record of 21-3 as a senior, scoring 26.6 points per game... averaged 5.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists. Junior (2016-17): Averaged 21.5 points, 9.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest.

Full name is Cameron Lorenz Tyson...  born in Bothell, Wash... son of Cindy and Andre Tyson...  brother, D’Marques,  played basketball at the University of Portland from 2014-2018 and is now on the Seattle U coaching staff.... earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology in June 2023... currently pursuing a Certificate in Leadership Formation.
