Morgan Means closed out his four-year career having appeared in 123 games for the Redhawks. With a second-half three-pointer versus Western Michigan on Nov. 25, 2019, he became just the third player in SU's modern-day DI history to hit 1,000 career points. He concluded his career with 1,291 points, while also ranking tied for sixth all-time at SU with 150 three-pointers, seventh all-time with 334 assists, seventh all-time with 135 steals and ninth all-time in free-throw percentage (81.7).
2019-20: Appeared in 27 games and started 26 during his senior season at Seattle U... averaged 12.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game... ranked third on the team with 34 made three 3-pointers... shot a team-high 88.2 percent from the charity stripe (90-102) which ranked 18th in the nation... scored in every game he appeared in and scored in double figures all but seven times... had a season-high 22 points versus UTRGV (Jan. 16)... also surpassed the 20-point mark at Kansas City (Jan. 2), finishing with 21 in the triple-overtime game... hit two or more threes on eight occasions... dished a season-high eight assists versus Long Beach State (Dec. 23)... finished second on the team in steals with 39...swiped four in a game twice, including at Syracuse (Nov. 16) and at Utah Valley (Feb. 8)... hit the game-winning shot in overtime at UVU to secure the season sweep of the Wolverines... 2019-20 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court... 2019-20 WAC All-Academic Team.
2018-19: Third season with SU…. WAC All-Academic honoree… appeared and started in all 33 games… averaged 14 points on 39.3% shooting, 4.3 rebounds, in 35.4 minutes played…. career-high in points (26) against Denver… career high nine rebounds against Fairfield (Nov. 24)…. made 16-of-16 free throws in game against Fairfield (Nov. 24)… eighth in WAC and second on the team in ppg… second in WAC for FT%... led team in 3-pointers made (62)… had nine games with 20+ points.
2017-18: Played in all 34 games, earning nine starts... averaged 8.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 27.6 minutes per game... scored in double figures 13 times... increased his minutes and scoring late in the season... had a four-game stretch of averaging 16 ppg... scored 14 points in back-to-back games versus Utah Valley (Feb. 3) and at Kansas City (Feb. 8)... then scored 17 points at Chicago State (Feb. 10) and poured in a season-high 19 versus UTRGV (Feb. 15)... recorded double-digit assists twice... tallied 10 helpers versus Puget Sound (Nov. 12)... then dished a career-high 13 assists versus Pacific Lutheran (Dec. 4).
2016-17: Appeared in, and started, 29 games for the Redhawks during his rookie season... averaged 6.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 23.6 minutes per game... shot 40.6 percent from the field, 35.7 percent from three and 64.3 percent from the free-throw line... led the team in scoring four times... first time was a season-high 22 points in a win over Northwest University (Dec. 1)... also led the team in scoring and surpassed the 20-point marker again with a 21-point effort against Southern Utah (Dec. 19)... had 17 points at UMKC (Feb. 11), then went on to lead the team with 13 points at New Mexico State (Feb. 25) and with 16 points at Utah Valley (Mar. 4)... had four or more assists seven times... season-high six assists game versus Louisiana Monroe (Nov. 21).
High School: Means played at Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, Calif., where he led his team to a 28-7 overall record and a trip to the Southern California Regional Division I State Championship game during his senior season... in his senior season he started every game for the Seahawks averaging 12.5 points, 3.5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per contest... had 17 assists in one game during his senior year... team captain as a senior.
