2008-09: Shaun started in each of the Redhawk’s 29 games, accomplishing this feat for the second straight season. His 55.7 percent shooting from the field and 97 assists led the Redhawks on the season. Burl averaged 6.6 points and 1.9 rebounds in 25.9 minutes of action. Two of Burl’s best performances of the season came when he scored 16 points on 7-for-9 shooting while handing out 5 assists at Puerto Rico-Bayamon on January 18th and had 12 points, including a perfect 4-for-4 from the free line December 29th at Oregon State.
2007-08: Burl was one of only two Redhawks that started all 27 games during his junior season. He averaged 6.1 points and 2.2 rebounds in 27.0 minutes per game. Burl was also second on the team with 38 steals and lead the team with 114 assists on the year. Two of Burl's best performances were when he scored a season-high 19 points and dished out 4 assists against CSU Monterey Bay on November 23, and had a season-high 9 assists on January 19 at St. Martins.
2006-07: Burl redshirted the 2006-07 season after sustaining a knee injury.
2005-06: Burl played in 20 games for the Redhawks, including starting once... Burl scored a season-high 10 points in an 84-76 loss to Central Washington Feb. 9... Burl scored at least four points in five games for the Redhawks in 2005-06... Burl dished off at least one assist in 14 games for SU, including six assists against Central (Feb. 9)... Burl had at least two assists in five games for the Redhawks... In eight games for SU, Burl grabbed at least one rebound, including two games where he grabbed two rebounds off the glass for the Redhawks... Burl led the team in field goal shooting, dropping in 19-of-27 shoots (.704).
2004-05: Shaun Burl earned significant experience in the collegiate game as a freshman...averaged 8.1 minutes per game and saw playing time in 23 of 27 games...averaged 1.5 points and 1.1 assists...had a positive assist-to-turnover ratio as a freshman...scored a career-high eight points vs. Holy Names (11/20/04)...also has career high free throws made with six against Holy Names as well...recorded high of six assists against Puget Sound (12/29/04)...also blocked two shots in a game twice.
Berkeley HS: Burl was a three-time all-league selection...team was 69-12 when Burl was a starter in three seasons...led the team in assists each year...averaged 12 points, 6.5 assists and three rebounds a game.
