2023 Cross Country: Finished with a time of 32:28.6 in the 10k at the NCAA West Regionals.
2022 Cross Country: Clocked in a personal best of 24:58 at the Charles Bowles Invitational, which tied for 11th in school history… posted a personal best of 31:23 in the 10k at the NCAA West Regional Championships, which is the fourth fastest time in program history
2022 Outdoor: Named Second Team All-WAC in the 3000 steeplechase… posted SU's all-time best, seventh in the WAC and new personal best of 8:59.44 in the 3000 steeplechase during the 2022 WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships for a sixth-place finish… posted a personal best time of 3:54.49 in the 1500m during the Bryan Clay Invitational for a fifth-place finish…notched SU's fifth all-time best and new personal best of 8:36.48 in the 3000m during the OSU PNW for a second-place finish
2021 Cross Country: Posted a new personal best of 21:30.3 in the four mile at UW/SU dual meet.
2021 Outdoor: Posted the WAC's 19th-best and personal record of 1:57.01 in the 800m at the Chris Rinne Twilight... placed at the WAC Championship in the 800m with a time of 1:58.23.
2020 Indoor: At the WAC Indoor Championships, scored with his team in the distance medley relay after posting a combined time of 10:55.80… at that meet, set a new personal record in the mile run at 4:29.78… posted a PR in the 800m run at the Portland Indoor One with a time of 2:05.50.
2019 Cross Country: Posted a 10k time of 33:34.4 at the NCAA Division I West Region Cross Country Championships… at the Western Athletic Conference XC Championships, finished the 8k race in 26:43.0… posted a personal record in the 8k at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational with a time of 26:22.8, 32 seconds better than his previous time.
A three-sport athlete, Harquail earned four letters apiece in cross country, track and field and swimming at Madison High School… took second place in the 2019 6A-1 Portland Interscholastic League District Track and Field Championships with a personal-best 1:57.01 in the 800m run… in the 2018 6A-1 PIL Cross Country Championships, had a PR of 15:43.6 in the 5k run… finished second in the 5k at the Nike Portland XC Invite… took second place in the 3k run at the Night Meet… ran a personal-best 9:08.34 in the 3k run at the 2018 6A-1 PIL District Track and Field Championship… reached two indoor personal records at the UW High School Invitational (1600m – 4:54.93, 3k – 9:43.63).
Gus Harquail was a member of the Portland Aquatic Club in high school… he was also the co-student body president at Madison High... majoring in Visual Arts at Seattle U.
