High school: McCabe won the gold medal with the 4x800m relay team at the USA Track and Field Junior Olympics in 2019 as a member of the Menlo iGreyhounds… earned four letters in track and field and three in cross country at San Lorenzo Valley High School… also spent one year on the junior varsity basketball team… was part of the school-record teams in the 4x100m, 4x200m and 4x400m relays… 2019 San Lorenzo Valley Scholar-Athlete of the Year… co-MVP of the varsity sprint team in 2017, 2018 and 2019… was co-captain of the 2019 San Lorenzo Valley track and field team… captain of the 2019 San Lorenzo Valley cross country team, which won the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League (SCCAL) Championship… qualified for State in cross country in 2017, 2018 and 2019… at the 2019 California Interscholastic Federation State Track and Field Championships, placed 11th in the state and first in the Central Coast Section (CCS) as part of the 4x400m relay team… at the 2018 State track and field championships, was 21st in the state, third in the CCS and second in the SCCAL as a member of the 4x400m relay team… in 2017, was 14th in the state, second in the CCS and first in the SCCAL as a member of the 4x400m relay team.
