High school: Grant earned eight total letters in three sports (cross country, track and field and lacrosse)… two-time All-Oregon State Activities Association (OSAA) Mountain Valley Conference First Team for cross country… two-time All-OSAA Mountain Valley Conference Second Team for cross country… was the cross country team MVP in 2017 and 2018… set a personal-best time of 9:09.9 in the 3k run at the 2018 Battle of the South, good for first place… had a new personal record in the 5k of 16:05.4 at the 2018 Northwest Classic… won the 1500m race three times (versus West Albany High School, at Sprague High School and versus McNary High School)… also took first place in the 3k run at the Laker Classic Invitational… set a PR in the 3k at the Dean Nice Invite with a time of 9:08.37… had two first-place finishes in the 5k run (versus North Salem High School and Sprague) in the 2017 cross country season… South Salem High School Track and Field Rookie of the Year in 2017… South Salem Cross Country Rookie of the Year in 2015.
