High School: Modeste led the Roseville High School Tigers to the sectional championship in 2015. In 2013, he earned First Team All-Sierra Foothill League honors. Besides baseball, he also played varsity basketball, and he was a Gold Merit winner all four years.
Personal: Modeste is the son of Edward and Kathleen Modeste, and he has an older brother named Scott who played baseball for Oral Roberts University. He is currently a pre-major.
