High School: Ciancio was a three-year letterwinner in baseball at Kentwood High School, helping the Conquerors post a 21-7 record in 2013 and a 22-5 record in 2015. During his prep career, he batted .379 with 86 hits and 64 runs scored in 74 games played. In 2015, he received First Team All-League, All-Area, and All-State honors, capping the season with a 3-for-3 performance with a walk, three runs scored, and two RBI in a state tournament game against Union High School.
