High School: Finfer hit .486 in 2012 for Interlake High School with 10 doubles, three triples, two home runs, 15 runs batted in, and 22 runs scored. He earned the Interlake Golden Spikes Award as the best offensive and defensive player on the team, plus he was named First Team All-KingCo. After a stellar senior season, Finfer was drafted in the 29th round of the 2013 MLB Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Personal: Finfer is the oldest child of Lee and Dana Finfer and has a younger sister named Sarah. Born April 17, 1995, he is majoring in communication studies.
