Trabuco Hills High School: Chutney was a three year varsity starter for the Mustangs.  He was twice named first team all-league and once made second team all-league.  He helped take the team to two playoff appearances, in 2008 and 2011.  He was given the school's Cy Young Award in 2009 and 2010.  In the 2010 season he threw 59 innings, earned 50 strikeouts and had a 3.15 ERA, while his best single-game performance came on March 30, 2011, when he threw a four-hit shutout with five strikeouts and no walks. 

Club Experience: Chutney played for the Black Knights from 2008 to 2011.

Personal: Full name is Jacob Edward Chutney.  He is the only child of Sherri and Ed Chutney.  He plans on majoring in business and would like to open his own business one day.  Along with baseball, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and body boarding.
