Junior College: Stober played for Bellevue College for two years, earning all-region honors as a designated hitter in 2013.
High School: At Kentridge High School, Stober was a two-time all-league honoree as well as an all-state selection in 2012. He helped the Chargers reach the state tournament in 2012 after the team missed it by one game the previous year.
Personal: Stober is the oldest child of Beth and Jeff Stober, and he has a younger sister named Jennifer and a younger brother named Shane. He is majoring in economics within the Albers School of Business and Economics.
