High School: McCann was drafted in the 40th round of the 2013 MLB Entry Draft by the Seattle Mariners. A two-time First Team All-League honoree, he batted .360 in 2012 with 10 doubles, 20 runs scored, and 19 runs batted in at Columbia River High School. In 2013, he batted .455 with 11 doubles, six home runs, and 24 RBI with 33 walks against just seven strikeouts.
Personal: McCann is the youngest child of Tim and Julie McCann, and he has an older sibling named Kelsey. He is majoring in accounting within the Albers School of Business and Economics.
