Junior College: At Spokane Falls Community College, Peterson achieved Second Team All-Eastern Region NWAACC as a freshman and, in his sophomore year, First Team All-Eastern Region NWAACC.
High School: Peterson was a three-year varsity starter for baseball and basketball and a one-year football varsity starter at Sehome High School in Bellingham. Peterson played in the state championship in 2011 and went to state tournaments in 2009 and 2010. In his junior and senior years, he earned All-Northwest Conference honors.
Club Experience: Peterson played in Bellingham Post 7 Legion in 2011, winning the state championship.
Personal: Peterson is the second child of Allen and Kris Peterson. He has an older sister named Megan. Born November 6, 1992, he is majoring in economics.
