College: Kain went to Washington State University from 2011 to 2013 and was redshirted as a freshman. He also earned Scholar Athlete at Washington State in Fall of 2011.
High School: Kain played as 1B, 3B and RHP during four years varsity baseball when he attended Kentwood High School in Covington. He won the 4A baseball state championship as a junior in high school with a complete game shutout.
Club Experience: Kain played for Taylor Baseball in the summer of 2010 and 2011. He helped led team in batting average in 2010.
Personal: Full name Avery Christian Kain. Parents are Daniel and Kay Kain, he has a 26 years old sister named Ashley and a 24 years old brother named Austin. Born in January 10, 1993, he is majoring in psycology and minoring in computer science. He is also aspiring to get into law school.
