SESSION INFORMATION
When:  Seattle University has three sessions of swim lessons that we coordinate throughout the year, one in fall Oct/Nov, one in winter Jan/Feb, and one in spring April/May. Lessons are held in the evenings, Monday-Thursday, from 4:30-5:00pm or 5:00-5:30pm.

Where: Lessons are held at the Redhawk Center on Seattle U’s campus, 550 14th Ave, Seattle WA 98112. The pool is 4 ft deep and typically heated to 81oC.

Cost: $40 per lesson.

Class Size: We consider these lessons to be semi-private, with a typical group size of 2 and a maximum of 3 swimmers per instructor.

Ages: These lessons are open to ages 3+, however, we cannot teach high schoolers and older according to NCAA rules.

Instructors: Our lessons are taught and primarily run by current Seattle U students. All proceeds go directly to our team to help us fund our travel training and competition trips. Thank you for supporting our team!

Levels: It is our goal to pass on strong swimming skills and share our passion for the sport. Our lessons range from learning the basics of swimming and water safety to mastering the four-stroke disciplines and proper stroke technique (view the level chart below).

Sign-up Process: Approximately a month before the session starts, we will communicate about our signs through our mailing list. We use Sign-up Genius to sign up for slots – first come first serve – and payment is taken online. We do not specify levels for each time slot (I.e. 3 spots for L2 on Mondays at 4:30), rather, we look at who signs up and divide them into groups according to age and/or specified levels. This way, you can sign up multiple children in multiple levels for the same time slot. As for most swim lessons in Seattle, we have a high demand for the number of spots available. I recommend signing up on the early side as we fill up within a few hours. If a session does sell out, you can add your name to the wait list and we will work to fit you in.

Makeup Lesson Policy: We do allow one make-up lesson per session but do not offer refunds.

Please join our email list so that you can be the first to be notified about our session sign ups.
