HAYWARD, CALIF. – Seattle U track and field kicks off their second meet of the outdoor season on Thursday, March 28 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, formerly known as the Sacramento State Distance Festival, which will be held this year at Chabot College in Hayward, Calif. The Redhawks will take on 121 other programs in the meet, which is scheduled to last for three days.
At the start of the season, Seattle U posted 25 top-five finishes and reached 29 personal bests. This week, they are entering 43 athletes into the field to compete in a number of different events. Competition starts at 12:30 PM on Thursday, followed by a 10:00 AM start time on Friday and a 9:00 AM start on Saturday.

- 10k run: sophomore Elle Stein
- 5k run: sophomores Courtney Gelmini and Elle Stein
