REDHAWKS PICKED 5th IN PRESEASON POLL
The Redhawks were picked fifth in the preseason coaches’ poll entering their second season in the West Coast Conference. Seattle U finished tied for fourth with Gonzaga last season, while U’i Kaaihue was the lone Redhawk selected to the preseason All-WCC Team.

WILSON NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kailee Wilson was named WCC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after a seven-point stretch across two matches. The senior recorded her first career brace and added an assist in a home win over San Diego before opening the scoring at Pacific. It marks the second time this season Wilson has totaled seven points across back-to-back games.

SCHUSTER KEEPS ON ASSISTING
Kyla Schuster tallied her eighth assist of the season last Wednesday, extending her conference lead while ranking ninth nationally. The midfielder has recorded a point in seven matches this season, including multiple points in five contests.

Seattle U’s attack leads the WCC and ranks 18th nationally with 99 points on the season. Kailee Wilson leads the Redhawks with seven goals, followed by U’i Kaaihue with six, while Kyla Schuster paces the squad with eight assists.

KIRGAN SECURES 35th CAREER WIN
Kassidy Kirgan earned her 35th career victory Saturday at Pacific. The senior has recorded exactly 10 wins in each of her first three collegiate seasons and has five games remaining to extend that streak in her final campaign.
