SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday’s meeting marks the 66th all-time matchup between Seattle U and Washington, with the Redhawks trailing the series 9-50-6. In last season’s meeting at Championship Field, SU jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals from Yeider Zuluaga and Allen Saye Blegay before the Huskies rallied for seven unanswered goals in a 2-7 defeat for the Redhawks.

LAST TIME OUT
Seattle U earned its first WCC win of the season on Oct. 3, defeating Saint Mary’s, 4-2, on home turf. After conceding in the fourth minute, the Redhawks responded with four unanswered goals, fueled by a hat trick from Alex Notzka, to secure the victory.

REDHAWKS PICKED 5th IN PRESEASON POLL
Seattle U was picked fifth in the West Coast Conference Preseason Poll, which was based on the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll.

NOTZKA DOES IT AGAIN
Alex Notzka earned WCC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after recording a hat trick in Seattle U’s win over Saint Mary’s. The junior continues to shine, leading the conference with nine goals while ranking ninth nationally.

FLORES NETS FIRST HAT TRICK
Freshman Leo Flores recorded his first collegiate hat trick in Seattle U’s 3-3 draw with Pacific on Sept. 30. The forward’s standout performance earned him a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week.

RIVALRY RETURNERS
Seven Redhawks return from last season’s rivalry matchup, including three starters: Dylan Wojdyla, Aidan Fong, and Allen Saye Blegay. Saye Blegay found the back of the net for Seattle U’s second goal in the contest.

BALANCED ATTACK
Nine different Redhawks have scored this season, while 12 players have contributed at least one assist, showcasing Seattle U’s offensive depth.
