ALL-TIME RECORD
This will be the eighth meeting between the Redhawks and Beavers, with the all-time series dating back to 2009. The teams last met as conference foes in 2025, when Seattle U earned a 6-1 victory at Championship Field. The Redhawks have won the last two meetings.
LAST TIME OUT
Seattle U fell to crosstown rival Washington, 1-0, last Friday on Montlake. The Redhawks were outshot for just the second time this season as their five-match unbeaten streak came to an end.
TOP RANKED ATTACK
The Redhawks lead the West Coast Conference in goals scored (12) and goals per game (1.71) this season. U’i Kaaihue is tied for second in the conference with four goals, while Kyla Schuster is tied for the conference lead with four assists.
30th SEASON FOR WOODWARD
The 2026 season marks the 30th year of Head Coach Julie Woodward’s historic career. A Redhawk Hall of Fame inductee, Woodward has compiled a 366-167-72 record at Seattle U, ranking her among the top 60 coaches all-time in NCAA history and 36th among active coaches in career wins. She is also the all-time winningest coach across all sports in Seattle University history.
KAAIHUE CLOSING IN ON TOP 5
U’i Kaaihue is four goals away from breaking into the top five for career goals in the program’s Division I history. Leahi Manthei currently sits fifth, while Stephanie Verdoia holds the program record with 51 career goals.
SCHUSTER SETS EM UP
Kyla Schuster has continued her playmaking ways in 2026, already assisting on four goals this season. That brings her career total to 14 assists, which ranks eighth in the program’s Division I era, dating back to 2009. She sits just one behind teammate and active leader Kailee Wilson.
FRESHMAN ORIENTATION
All five field players from Seattle U’s 2026 freshman class have seen action this season. Miyah Suster has started two games, while Vivien Villarreal has started all six. The pair has also combined for three goals on the season.
KIRGAN BACK IN NET
Kassidy Kirgan returned to the lineup in last Friday’s match at Washington, making two saves on four shots faced. The senior goalkeeper now has 224 career saves, ranking second all-time in Seattle U program history.
