SEATTLE - For their third tournament of the season, the Seattle University men's golf team is heading east to Coeur d'Alene, Idado for the CDA National Reserve Invitational, hosted by Eastern Washington. The competition will take place September 21-22 at the CDA National Reserve with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start both days.
Competing for the Redhawks will be Jacob Kang, Cade McVicker, Kevin Li, Burly Hildreth and Elliot Ro.
Last week at the Ram Masters Invitational, Kang was the Redhawks' top finisher, placing 20th with +5 over, 215 and a best round of +1 over, 71 in both the first and third.
This will be McVicker's second-ever collegiate tournament following his debut last week, in which he shot a best round of even par, 70 with four birdies and an eagle.
Li has had a shakier start to his season, placing as high as 31st at the Pan Pacific University Golf Super League Tournament, following a season where he had three top-five finishes with an individual win at The Watney.
After playing only one round before having to withdraw due to sickness, Hildreth will be making his true season debut.
Ro looks to continue his early collegiate success, in which he placed fourth overall at the Pan Pacific University Golf Super League Tournament with a best round of -4 under, 67 on the final day of competition.
This will be the Redhawks' first time competing in any tournament hosted by Eastern Washington.
