This will be the 12th all-time meeting between the Redhawks and Aggies, with the series dating back to 2000. Seattle U holds a 7-3-1 advantage all-time and have won the last four meetings. The two sides last squared off in 2025, a 4-0 victory for SU in California.
LAST TIME OUT
The Redhawk attack erupted in a 7-1 win over Cal State Fullerton on Monday. Four different Redhawks found the back of the net, highlighted by a brace from Aiden Fong and hat trick from Alex Notzka. It set a modern record for points in a match (20) and was the most goals in a single game since 2023.
REDHAWKS PICKED 5th IN PRESEASON POLL
The Redhawks slotted in at 5th in the Preseason WCC Poll, as voted on by the league’s coaches. Top 25 teams Portland and San Diego took the top two spots respectively, while Denver rounded out the top three. San Francisco came just a couple points ahead of the Redhawks to take 4th.
NOTZKA NETS HAT TRICK
Alex Notzka exploded into the scoring column in 2026, netting a first half hat trick in Monday’s win over Cal State Fullerton. Coming into the match, the junior had two career goals and nine points. He is the second Redhawk to have a hat trick in the last calendar year, joining Yeider Zuluaga who had one vs Gonzaga last season.
BALANCED ATTACK
Eight different Redhawks combined for goal contributions in Monday’s match. Along with Notzka’s hat trick, Aiden Fong had a brace while Edgar Leon and Alex Bazia both had a goal and assist. Leo Flores, Obasi Thompson, Tommy Coughlin, and Allen Saye Blegay all added assists for a team total of 20 points.
KAPCIAK SECURES FIRST WIN
Monday was the first win in net for Aleksander Kapciak, who made seven saves on the night. The sophomore has made five starts over his career and has a record of 1-3-1.
