This will be the 15th all-time meeting between the Redhawks and Wildcats and the first since 2007. As GNAC rivals, Seattle U dominated the series, posting a 12-1-1 record.
LAST TIME OUT
The Seattle U attack was firing on all cylinders Thursday, as the Redhawks cruised past Oregon State, 4-0, in Corvallis. Evalani Keawekane and Leila Leano struck before halftime to give Seattle U a 2-0 lead, while U’i Kaaihue and Kailee Wilson added second-half goals to seal the shutout.
TOP RANKED ATTACK
The Redhawks lead the West Coast Conference in goals scored (16) and goals per game (2.00) this season. U’i Kaaihue is part of a four-way tie atop the conference with five goals, while she and Kyla Schuster share the conference lead with four assists apiece.
30th SEASON FOR WOODWARD
The 2026 season marks the 30th year of Head Coach Julie Woodward’s historic career. A Redhawk Hall of Fame inductee, Woodward has amassed a 366-167-72 record at Seattle U, ranking among the top 60 coaches in NCAA history and 36th among active coaches in career wins. She is also the winningest head coach, across all sports, in Seattle University history.
KAAIHUE CLOSING IN ON TOP 5
U’i Kaaihue is three goals away from breaking into the top five for career goals in the program’s Division I history. Leahi Manthei currently sits fifth, while Stephanie Verdoia holds the program record with 51 career goals.
WILSON TIES RITZMAN
With two assists in Thursday’s victory, Kailee Wilson moved into a tie with Taylor Ritzman (2011-14) for fifth in Seattle U’s Division I history with 17 career assists. Stephanie Verdoia sits atop the D-I chart with 30 assists, while Jamie French (1990-93) and Ashley Porter (2004-07) share the program’s all-time record with 48.

Hawai’i has accounted for 71% of the Redhawks’ points this season, with U’i Kaaihue, Kailee Wilson, Evalani Keawekane, Leila Leano, and Miyah Suster combining for 33 points.
KIRGAN SECURES 31st CAREER WIN
Kassidy Kirgan was called upon to make just one save Thursday, earning her 31st career win and 18th career shutout. She ranks second in program history behind only Brianna Smallidge (2012-15) in both categories. Smallidge finished her career with 51 wins and 27.8 shutouts.
