CORVALLIS, OR - Seattle U women’s soccer delivered a dominant performance Thursday evening at Paul Lorenz Field, cruising past Oregon State, 4-0.

The Redhawks wasted little time taking control. Evalani Keawekane opened the scoring in the ninth minute, finishing off assists from Sophie Hanson and U’i Kaaihue to give Seattle U a 1-0 lead. Just under two minutes later, Leila Leano doubled the advantage, converting a chance set up by Sydney Grundland Lanuza and Kailee Wilson. It was the first collegiate goal for Keawekane and the second of the season for Leano.

Seattle U carried a 2-0 lead into halftime after outshooting the Beavers 14-7 and putting eight shots on target. Oregon State managed just one shot on goal in the opening 45 minutes.

The Redhawks continued to apply pressure after the break before Kaaihue added the third goal in the 73rd minute. Wilson provided the assist, giving Seattle U a three-goal cushion.

Wilson then capped the scoring in the final minute, finding the net at 89:51 for her third goal of the season. The Redhawks finished with 21 shots, including 13 on target, while holding Oregon State to 11 shots and just two on frame.

Goalkeeper Kassidy Kirgan made one save and recorded the shutout, with Seattle U also benefiting from a team save. It was the 31st career win and 18th career clean sheet for the senior.

The win moves the Redhawks to 4-2-2 on the season and gives them their first road victory of 2026. They will return to Championship Field this Sunday, Sep. 13 when they host Central Washington. Kickoff between the Redhawks and Wildcats is scheduled for 4:00pm PT.
