SEATTLE - Seattle University women’s basketball unveiled its schedule for the 2026-27 season, highlighting the upcoming year with 15 home games, including all nine West Coast Conference members, and a trip to Alaska for the ASRC/ConocoPhillips Great Alaska Shootout.
Head coach John Bonner enters his first season with the program, alongside his new coaching staff, after his hiring in March 2026. Over the summer, 13 new Redhawks joined the program, including three freshmen, to bring the roster to 14 ahead of the 2026-27 season. The new squad makes their official debut on November 2 against New Mexico.
Seattle U’s non-conference consists of six home games. The Redhawks welcome UC Riverside for the first official contest inside the Redhawk Center on November 6. Pacific Lutheran, Lewis and Clark, Weber State, Montana, North Texas and Portland State will all make the trip to First Hill before the end of 2026.
The Redhawks jet set to Southern California after starting their season on the road in Albuquerque, visiting both UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly. They hit the road once more over Thanksgiving with a trip to Alaska for the ASRC/ConocoPhillips Great Alaska Shootout, which features a tournament field of Chicago State, Louisville, and host Alaska Anchorage. SU closes its non-conference slate hopping over to Moscow, Idaho for a clash with the Vandals.
Seattle U opens WCC play on the road, traveling to LMU and Pepperdine over New Year’s. The Redhawks make their home WCC debut against newcomer Denver on January 7 before hosting San Diego. San Francisco, Pepperdine and Saint Mary’s make the trip to Seattle through the end of January, while the Redhawks travel to Santa Clara, Saint Mary’s and Denver.
February opens on the road at I-5 rival Portland and Pacific before the Redhawks return home to host Santa Clara and LMU from February 11-13. Seattle U splits its remaining four contests home-away, sharing weekends with Portland, at San Diego, at San Francisco and Pacific. The Redhawks conclude the regular season at home on February 27 against the Tigers.
