SEATTLEThe West Coast Conference has released the weekly matchup schedule for the 2026-27 men’s basketball season, with Seattle University tipping off play at home for the second straight season, hosting LMU on either Jan. 2 or Jan. 3

As part of the nine-team, 16-game format, the Redhawks will face eight home-and-away opponents while matching up against Portland only at home and Pacific only on the road. Games will primarily be played on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with flexibility for additional national broadcast opportunities on ESPN and CBS Sports Network.

Seattle U will conclude its WCC-opening homestand against Pepperdine (Jan. 5, 6 or 7) before traveling to Denver (Jan. 9 or 10) for the first-ever conference meeting with the Pioneers, who are in their inaugural season as a WCC member.

Three of the Redhawks’ next four games are at home including San Francisco (Jan. 12, 13 or 14), San Diego (Jan. 19, 20 or 21) and Portland (Jan. 23 or 24). They will travel to Stockton, Calif., to face Pacific on Jan. 16 or 17.

Additional home matchups include Saint Mary’s (Feb. 6 or 7), Santa Clara (Feb. 16, 17 or 18) and Denver (Feb. 20 or 21).

The Redhawks will travel to LMU (Jan. 26, 27 or 28), Santa Clara (Feb. 2, 3 or 4), Pepperdine (Feb. 9, 10 or 11), San Diego (Feb. 13 or 14), Saint Mary’s (Feb. 23, 24, 25) and San Francisco (Feb. 27 or 28).

After wrapping up WCC play on the road for a second straight season, Seattle U heads to Las Vegas for the 2027 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championship, set for March 4-9 at the Orleans Arena.
