SEATTLE — Seattle U women's soccer fought to a 1-1 draw with Simon Fraser on Sunday night at Championship Field.
The Redhawks found themselves trailing after the Red Leafs opened the scoring in the 59th minute. Kailee Wilson found the equalizer just three minutes later, however, as Seattle U salvaged a point. The goal was Wilson's second of the season and her fifth point of the weekend after she recorded a goal and an assist in the Redhawks' win over Montana.

Rachael Remnet made four saves in her second start of the season in goal. Overall, the Seattle U defense limited Simon Fraser to 10 total shots.
The draw moves the Redhawks to 1-1-2 on the season and extends their unbeaten streak to three matches. Seattle U will continue its four-game homestand on Thursday, Aug. 27, when it hosts Nevada. Kickoff between the Redhawks and Wolf Pack is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT.
