O'AHU, HI - Seattle U women's soccer dropped their season opener to Kansas State, 0-4, Thursday afternoon in Hawai'i. 

The Redhawks were outshot 9-14 in the match; with U'i Kaaihue, Kailee Wilson, Kyla Schuster, and Vivien Villarreal all recording two shots each. Kassidy Kirgan made four saves in net despite the loss.

Seattle U (0-1) will remain in Hawai'i as they prepare for their second game of the new season, a Sunday clash with Texas Tech. Kick off between the Redhawks and Red Raiders is scheduled for 4:00pm.
