SEATTLE – Seattle University cross country has released its schedule of meets for the 2026 season, including five regular season competitions before heading into its second West Coast Conference Championship and the NCAA postseason.
"I am really excited about the opportunities our team has this year," said Acting Head Coach Alex Jensen. "Each meet will provide great competition and valuable opportunities for us to refine our racing and build momentum throughout the season. This schedule will prepare us well for championships and help us continue climbing the ladder in the WCC."
The Redhawk squad will kick off competition on Friday, Sept. 11 in Monmouth, Ore., at the Ash Creek Collegiate, hosted by Western Oregon University. One week later, Friday, Sept. 18, the team will head to Moraga, Calif., for the Saint Mary's College Invitational.
On Saturday, Sept. 26, the Redhawks will compete at the Mike Johnson XC Classic, hosted by Western Oregon in Monmouth, Ore. Two more trips to Oregon – the Charles Bowles Invite on Saturday, Oct. 3 in Salem, Ore., and the George Oja Invite on Saturday, Oct. 17 in McMinnville, Ore., will wrap up the regular season.
Postseason begins with the West Coast Conference Championship on Friday, Oct. 30 at Tecolote Shores in San Diego. The NCAA West Regional will be contested Friday, Nov. 13 in Sacramento followed by the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., on Saturday, Nov. 21.
