SEATTLE – Danielis Kvederis has been named a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Second Team Scholar All-American. Seattle U men's and women's swimming also earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors.
To qualify for First Team Scholar All-America recognition, student-athletes must earn a GPA of 3.50 or higher and compete at their respective national championship. Second Team honorees must also maintain a GPA of 3.50 or higher and achieve an NCAA Division I "A" cut, an NCAA "B" qualifying standard for the national championship, or qualify for a diving zone meet in Division II, Division III, or NAIA competition.
Kvederis, a junior from Lithuania, continued his standout career in the pool during the 2025-26 season. He recorded six personal-best times while adding his name to the Seattle U record book in multiple events.
The CSCAA also recognized both Redhawk swimming programs as Scholar All-America Teams. Teams are selected based on their spring semester or quarter GPA and must achieve a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.00.
Seattle U's women's team posted a 3.68 GPA during the spring quarter, while the men's team finished with a 3.40 GPA.
This year, the CSCAA recognized 714 teams from 418 institutions for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester. Collectively, those teams represent 16,680 student-athletes across all collegiate divisions, with more than 2,230 swimmers and divers earning First Team or Second Team Scholar All-America honors.
