SEATTLE - Seattle University volleyball unveiled its schedule ahead of the 2026 season, highlighting its sophomore West Coast Conference year with the introduction of Denver while kicking off the new season with a home tournament.
The Redhawks host two exhibitions before action starts in late August, starting with their annual Red/White match. They’ll host Portland State the following day on August 22 for an exhibition contest before turning to their home tournament the weekend of August 28-30.
Journeying to Seattle for the Redhawks’ late summer tournament is former WAC mate Chicago State, North Dakota and cross state rival Eastern Washington. Seattle U travels through early and mid-September for stops at a pair of former WCC conference institutions, starting with Oregon State from September 3-5. The Redhawks square off with Montana, former WAC foe California Baptist and host Oregon State before jumping over to Spokane for meetings with host Gonzaga, Montana and North Dakota State on September 17-19.
In the midst of their tournament slate, the Redhawks return home on September 11 for a match against their third former WAC opponent on their schedule, Southern Utah.
Seattle U starts its sophomore campaign in the WCC against I-5 rival Portland to wrap up September before pivoting to a pair of home conference contests the first weekend of October against Bay Area WCC foes San Francisco and Santa Clara. Following their three match home stand, the Redhawks travel to Saint Mary’s and Pacific the weekend of October 8-10.
The Redhawks stay in the PNW with matches against San Diego and its first conference contest against Denver October 15-17 before heading down I-5 for its final meeting with Portland on October 24. SU closes out October at home hosting both Pepperdine and LMU.
Seattle U then returns to Northern California for meetings in the Bay, battling both Santa Clara and San Francisco before returning home for the final time in 2026. The Redhawks host both Pacific and Saint Mary’s before completing its season with four straight road matches. The Gaels will be the final home match for SU, with the match set for November 14.
The Pioneers kick off the road stand for the Redhawks followed by a second meeting with the Toreros. The Redhawks remain in Southern California to complete the year, traveling to both LMU and Pepperdine the final weekend of November.
