BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped their series opener with Santa Clara, 1-7, Friday afternoon at Bannerwood Park.
The Redhawks were held to one run on eight hits while the Broncos jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.
The loss drops Seattle U to 17-26 on the season and to 11-11 in conference play. They will look to even the series in game two tomorrow, as the sides square off at Everett Memorial Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 9:30am PT.
