DENVER - Seattle University softball earned five CSC All-Academic All-District honorees in Avari Morris, Abbie Fales, Ava Sin, Brooklyn Jones and Jay Ross as selected by College Sports Communicators in recognition of their academic and athletic accomplishments during the 2026 season.

To be recognized, student-athletes must hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average in at least their sophomore year while competing in 90 percent of an institution’s games or starting in 66 percent of contests.

Both Morris and Sin were selected to advance to the CSC’s Academic All-American ballot which will be voted on by CSC members and announced on June 16.

Morris earned all-district recognition for the second straight year after appearing on the 2025 CSC academic all-district team. The outfielder/pitcher was one of three Redhawks to appear and start in all 51 contests. Morris batted .417 on the season, ranking top three in the WCC. Her 73 hits led the team, while tying third all time in program history for hits in a single season. Morris earned All-WCC first team, All-Academic All-WCC first team and NFCA Mountain Region second team.

Sin took home second team honors from the WCC while joining Morris on the All-Academic All-WCC first team. Sin tied the program record for doubles in a single season, recording 20 over her senior campaign.

Jones appeared and started in all 51 games along with Morris, while capturing her second all-academic all-district distinction in her career. The second baseman enjoyed a senior season that boasted new career highs in hits, runs scored, RBI, doubles, putouts and assists.

Fales appeared and started in 48 contests in right field. She logged the third most doubles on the team this season, while accounting for 36 hits and 28 runs scored.

Ross led the Redhawk defense, playing primarily at first base. She paced the team with 212 putouts while ranking fourth on the team in batting average. Ross appeared and started 50 games in her lone season in Seattle, logging 51 hits and scoring 21 runs.
