SPOKANE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped their 2026 season finale with Gonzaga, 13-16, Saturday afternoon.

After scoring just three runs combined between the first two games of the series, the Redhawk offense exploded for 13 on 11 hits on Saturday. Kenny Rhein, Royce Hale, and Brandon Stinnett all had home runs with Rhein and Hale both having four runs batted in on the day. 

On the mound, Luke Alwood (2-4) was credited with the loss after three runs in 0.2 IP. Micah Hagler, Blake Smith, and Ryan Stone all allowed three or more runs on the mound as well in the shootout. 

The loss brings the 2026 season to an end for the Redhawks, as they did not qualify for the West Coast Conference tournament in their first season in the conference. They finish with an overall record of 18-31 and a conference mark of 11-16.
