SPOKANE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped game two of their series with Gonzaga, 1-5, Friday night.

The Redhawks were held off the board until 2-outs in the top of the 9th when Royce Hale launched a solo home run, his 6th of the season. The blast wasn't a rally sparker though, as the Redhawks dropped the series with their cross-state foe.

Kale Hammer (2-4) was credited with the loss after going six while giving up four earned on seven hits. Isaac Hallam did make a scoreless appearance out of the pen as he did not allow a hit over the final two innings of play.

The loss drops Seattle U to 18-30 on the season and to 11-15 in conference play. They will look to salvage the series and give a boost to their post season hopes in game three tomorrow, May 16. Micah Hagler is scheduled to make the start with a 12:00pm first pitch.
