SPOKANE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped their series opener with Gonzaga, 2-12, in seven innings on Thursday.
The Redhawks were held to just two runs on five hits as they were 10-run ruled in seven innings. Payton Knowles was still a standout despite the loss, going 3-for-3 with a leadoff home run in the top of the 1st.
The loss drops the Redhawks to 18-29 on the season and to 11-14 in conference play. They will look to bounce back in game two tomorrow, May 15.
