SEATTLE - Four Seattle University women's tennis players have been awarded College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors this season, as announced on Tuesday. The honored Redhawks include Lola Tavcar, Larissa Teramura, Natalia Michta and Daria Nazarenko. All four also earned West Coast Conference All-Academic honors this year.
This is senior Tavcar's second CSC nod of her collegiate career, earning the same honors in her sophomore year. This year she was also named West Coast Conference All-Academic Team honorable mention, and was named an ITA All-Scholar Athlete last season.
Fellow senior Larissa Teramura is earning her first CSC honors, paired with her CSC All-Academic Team honorable mention this season. She was also named an ITA All-Scholar Athlete in her junior year.
Senior Natalia Michta was named WCC All-Academic Team this season, and was an ITA All-Scholar Athlete as well last season.
Nazarenko, a junior, is also receiving her first CSC award along with being named WCC All-Academic Team, and follows the trend of also having been named an ITA All-Scholar Athlete in 2025.
In order to earn this award, student athletes must have at least a 3.50 GPA while being at least a sophomore in academic standing. They must also compete in at least 75% of their team's scored competitions.
