SERIES HISTORY
The Redhawks are 8-18 in the all-time series with Washington State dating back to the 2010 season. The two sides met in March of this season at Bannerwood Park, with Seattle U dropping a 0-10 result in seven innings.
TOUGH SERIES WITH BRONCOS
Seattle U was swept in their West Coast Conference series with Santa Clara over the weekend. The Redhawks now hold a 1-game lead over the Broncos for the final spot in the WCC tournament.
WORK TO BE DONE
Not only does Seattle U hold a slim 1-game lead in the WCC standings over Santa Clara, but they also enter the final week of the regular season tied with Portland at 11-13. The Redhawks hold the tie breaker with the Pilots thanks to their head-to-head series win in April.
ENDING ON THE ROAD
The Redhawks will close out the 2026 regular season with a 4-game trip through Eastern Washington. These will be the first D-I road games for SU outside the state of California this season.
KNOWLES CHASING RECORD
Coming into the final week of the regular season, Payton Knowles is chasing multiple top 5 entries in the program’s record book. For a single season he currently ranks 6th in batting average (.354), 8th in slugging (.550), and 5th in on base percentage (.461).
BEAUCHAINE ON A ROLL
Jake Beauchaine went 3-for-8 with four walks in the series with Santa Clara. The junior is also riding a five-game hitting streak after his team-high 12 game streak was snapped at the end of April.
STINNETT LAUNCHES 3rd OF SEASON
Brandon Stinnett hit his 3rd home run of the season in Saturday’s game with Santa Clara. That further extended his single-season career high after he had just one career home run coming into the season.
HALLEM SET FOR 2nd START OF SEASON
Isaac Hallam is scheduled to make his second start of the season in Tuesday’s game with Washington State. He had a no-decision in has only other start of the year, going three innings vs Washington in February.
