REDHAWK HEADLINES:

SERIES HISTORY
The Redhawks are 0-3 in the all-time series with Loyola Marymount. Their only meeting came in a 3-game series last season, where Seattle U was swept in Los Angeles. This will be the first meeting as conference foes.

FARRELL NAMED WCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Travis Farrell was named the Rawlings WCC Pitcher of the Week after tossing a complete game in a win over Portland. The righty allowed just one earned and struck out 10 on a program record 130 pitches. He became just the third Redhawk to toss a 9-inning complete game, joining Nestor German (5/28/21) and Jake Prizina (2/15/29).

REDHAWKS GET SERIES WIN OVER I-5 RIVALS
The Redhawks took 2-of-3 in their series with Portland last weekend. It was the second conference series win of the year as Seattle U improved to 5-4 during their inaugural run in the West Coast Conference.

FAMILIAR FACE IN VISITING DUGOUT
The weekend series will feature a reunion for the Redhawk program, as former assistant coach Donegal Fergus makes a return to Championship Field as the skipper for the Lions. Fergus was with Seattle U from 2010-2012.

THE MIGHTY HAMMER
Kale Hammer has allowed just four earned runs over his last 20.2 innings pitched. He has a team-low 3.76 ERA while ranking second with a 1.74 ERA among starters during WCC play. His 0.67 WHIP also ranks top 5 in conference play.

HORNER GOES YARD
Tyler Horner launched his first home run of the season in Tuesday’s win over British Columbia. The 3-run shot brought his season RBI total to a team-high 19.

KNOWLES LEADING THE OFFENSE
Payton Knowles continues to lead the Redhawks attack at the plate. He ranks 1st in batting average (.307), OPS (.885), runs (20), and home runs (3) for qualified hitters this season.
