BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped game two of their series with Pepperdine, 6-7, Saturday at Bannerwood Park. The Redhawks put up a rally in the 9th but came up just short of sending the game to extras.

Trailing by four runs heading into their final plate appearance, SU put up four singles and scored three runs to close the gap. With the tying run at second and winning run at first, the Redhawks were turned away with a game-sealing strikeout.

The loss drops the Redhawks to 14-23 on the season and gives them their first home WCC series loss as they drop the first two games with the waves. They will look to salvage in game three tomorrow, with Micah Hagler scheduled to make the start.
