BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped their series opener with Pepperdine, 1-3, Friday night at Bannerwood Park. The Redhawks were held to just one run on five hits, as they fell for the first time at home in the last six games.
Travis Farrell (2-5) was credited with the loss after going 6.1 innings while up two earned on eight hits. Despite the loss, the righty extended his quality start streak to four and five of his last six.
The loss drops the Redhawks to 14-22 on the season and to 9-7 in conference. They will look to tie the series in game two tomorrow, April 25. Kale Hammer will get the start with a 4:45pm PT first pitch.
