SAN DIEGO, CA - Seattle U baseball dropped their meeting with San Diego State, 5-9, Monday morning at Tony Gwynn Stadium.
Payton Knowles carried over his standout performance at San Diego into Monday's game, going 3-for-4 to lead the Redhawks. Tyler Horner drove in a team-high two runs, while Jake Beauchaine and Hayden Carlson both had one RBI.
Jake Morell (0-2) was credited with the loss on the mound after tossing two innings while giving up two earned on four hits.
The loss drops the Redhawks to 14-21 on the season and wraps up their 4-game San Diego road trip at 2-2. They will return home to face Pepperdine in a 3-game conference series starting Friday, April 24.
