SEATTLE - The Seattle University women's tennis team will head down to Portland this weekend to compete in their final duel of the 2025-26 season. The match will take place Saturday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. PDT at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center in Portland, Ore.
This will be the final match as Redhawks for seniors Lola Tavcar, Natalia Michta and Larissa Teramura.
Seattle U will be facing Portland for the eighth time, and for the first time as West Coast Conference mates. The Redhawks are 0-7 against the Pilots to present, with their last match in 2025 resulting in a hard-fought 4-3 loss. In that match, current members and doubles pair Lamija Avdic and Natalia Michta won their doubles match along with Lola Tavcar and Daria Nazarenko, securing the doubles point for the Redhawks, and Avdic also won her top-seeded singles matchup 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 6-2.
