VANCOUVER, Wash. - Seattle University women’s rowing saw all three of its boats post significant improvement against the Pilots and Santa Clara on Vancouver Lake on Saturday morning.

SU’s varsity eight improved by almost half a minute from its last outing, clocking a 7:23.3 against the Pilots.

The Redhawks claimed third with their second varsity eight boat, besting Portland second 2V8+ boat by three seconds with a time of 7:36.8. SU finished seven second behind second place Santa Clara, who finished nine seconds behind the Pilots.

Seattle U’s varsity four finished in third, improving its race time by nearly 22 seconds from its previous race at the Oregon State Invite. The Redhawks finished at 9.29 flat.

The Redhawks return to action at the end of April, traveling for a duel against Santa Clara in Northern California.
