SEATTLE - Seattle University women’s rowing remains in the Pacific Northwest, traveling to Vancouver, Wash. for the Portland Invite on Saturday morning, racing conference foes Portland and Santa Clara on Vancouver Lake.
The Redhawks will field three boats, racing their varsity eight, junior varsity eight and varsity four on Saturday morning. Varsity four will kick off the event at 10 AM and the varsity and JV eights will follow.
It will be the second time in as many weeks for the Redhawks to race both Portland and Santa Clara, with both members. The Pilots have been a presence for SU all season long, with the two programs meeting for the third time this season.
Following Saturday’s races, Seattle U will travel to California for a duel against Santa Clara before returning to Washington for Opening Day the first weekend of May.
