SEATTLE - Seattle University softball’s final home game in its four game series against Montana was postponed on Sunday afternoon in an abundance of caution for student-athlete safety and field safety due to weather in the First Hill area.
Both programs are working towards a final decision to play the final game at a later date. More information will follow.
The Redhawks locked up three of the four games, securing all three victories on Saturday after Friday’s contest was halted until Saturday afternoon. Seattle U moved to 3-0 at home on the season following its home debut weekend. Montana and Seattle U will meet in Missoula for a doubleheader later this year.
SU remains at home through the week, hosting Sacramento State for a three games series starting with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 14.
