SEATTLE - The Seattle University women's tennis team will head south for it's first duel matches of the month in Las Vegas, Nev. The Redhawks will take on host UNLV on March 6 at 10:00 a.m., and New Mexico State on March 7, also at 10:00 a.m. Both matches will take place at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
On the Redhawks' last road trip, the women claimed their first duel win of the season, defeating Lewis-Clark State College 5-2, despite an injury-depleted roster. Despite a team loss to Eastern Washington the next day, Lamija Avdic remains undefeated in doubles in the spring season.
Seattle U last faced UNLV in 2022, where the Rebels won 7-0. Against New Mexico State, Seattle University is 2-12 all time, last competing in 2023 in a 5-2 defeat.
