Brubaker Tabbed All-WCC Honorable Mention

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Graduate Ella Brubaker capped her historic collegiate career collecting the Seattle University women’s basketball program’s first ever West Coast Conference post-season award, earning a spot on the honorable mention team, as announced by the league this morning.

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Graduate Ella Brubaker capped her historic collegiate career collecting the Seattle University women’s basketball program’s first ever West Coast Conference post-season award, earning a spot on the honorable mention team, as announced by the league this morning.

Brubaker appeared in all 29 contests in her lone season in Seattle, while scoring in double-digits in 25 of those games. She paced the team and ranked top-five in the WCC in points per game, recording 16.0 a contest. The University Place native shot 44.5 percent from the field while combining for 112 makes from the free throw line and 39 triples.

The graduate guard went for new season career bests at the Division I level in points (465), field goals made (157), triples (39), free throws made, rebounds (126), assists (31), blocks (13) and steals (47). She capped her three years in D-I with 875 points scored, bringing her six year career total to 2,115 points. Brubaker surpassed the 2K mark in early February behind her D-I game high 27 points against San Diego.

Brubaker ranked sixth in the conference in free throw percentage, shooting 83 percent from the line. Her guidance from the stripe helped lead the Redhawks to a combined 79.5 percent shooting clip from the free throw line, a mark that ranks eighth in the country.

In league play, Brubaker ranked seventh in field goals made, connecting for 100 in conference contests. She scored 299 points in WCC games, a feat that ranked third in the league. Brubaker shot 44.6 percent in conference games, averaging 16.6 points in WCC play.

Brubaker guides the Redhawks for the 2026 Credit Union I WCC Basketball Championship, where they’ll take on Washington State in the opening round on Thursday, March 5.
